The Radio Festival

Kadal Osai FM 90.4 was invited to The Radio Festival conducted in Delhi by SMART in partnership with UNICEF. The 3 day festival in Delhi included 3 workshops in which Mrs. Gayathri Usman and Mr. Lenin Raj of Kadal Osai FM participated in representing the trust and CR. The first workshop on 24th July was a Digital Rights workshop conducted by SMART. The festival celebrations happened on July 25th. On July 26th, 2 workshops were conducted: one on Lead CR attended by Mrs. Gayathri Usman and the other by UNHCR attended by Lenin Raj. Kadal Osai CR won first prize in the POSHAN GHAR awards which is a National Level programme designing competition under the “tackling anemia among adolescents” and the first prize in the UNCHR workshop for designing a programme on bridging the gap between refugees during this Radio Festival.
